Mike was born an inquisitive child.  He has spent a lifetime taking things apart, figuring out how they work.  His earliest emergency room experience involved some clock parts from his grandmother's alarm clock-- you know, the winding stem and little screws that protrude from the back of old spring-powered wind-up style clocks -- the same parts that are easy for any determined 3-year old to remove.  Somehow, one or more of those screws found its way into Mike's nose, and Mike learned the futility of trying to dig foreign objects out of a small space with a stubby-finger type tool.  The long skinny emergency room forceps proved far superior for the job.  That was circa 1964.  Mike's been learning, developing, and improving a broad variety of skills ever since -- building furniture, fixing cars, remodeling houses, all those things listed on the "services" page.

Fast forward to 2009, a.k.a. "the year of what comes next."  Big Corporate America had "set Mike free" at the end of 2008.  After 20+ years in an Information Technology career, and in the midst of an awful job market, Mike was inspired to start a new adventure, doing something else he has always loved to do.  Thus, the birth of "Call-Mike."  Mike's inquisitive nature has developed into a passion for "building and fixing things."  Call Mike and let him build or fix something for you!
